This set was carefully picked

This set was carefully picked to create a repeatable game using Gardens with only the base set. There are multiple strategies: workshop, +buys(woodcutter/festival/councilroom), helpers (village/cellar/throne room), and counter-strategies (militia,bureaucrat) all which work inside the gardens strategy. Compared to other base-only Gardens games you will see more variation with this setup, without slowing the fast pace of Gardens.

I have played it repeatedly with many different players and have yet to hear of any better base-game setup for Gardens.

I like the look of this. As a newer Dominion player, I hated how long the base-game suggested 'Size Distortion' deck with Gardens took, so I'll definitely be trying this.
