I think this would also be
I think this would also be good with a "Thief" or "Tribute" in place of the "Spy".
Tribute instead of
Tribute instead of Torturer.
Having the Tribute instead of the Torturer makes more sense for "crooked politics".
Tribute instead of Torturer
Tribute instead of Torturer played out well combining it with the Spy. Also good way to get extra coin/card/actions.
Bureaucrat was annoying to those playing the Baron + Estate route.
If I played it again, I would replace the Chapel with a Cellar if replaced the Torturer with the Tribute. The Chapel was intended to be useful with the potential curses in play with the Torturer.
The Conspirator didn't get played at all with this mix.
Would definitely play
Would definitely play again.
Played with the Tribute instead of the Torturer. The Spy then Tribute combination was fun. Game picked up speed quickly. The Torturer might have made the game play a little while longer. Overall, enjoyed the game.
