Love Thy Neighbor Notes:
Love Thy Neighbor Notes:
Each card in the supply of this game involves the player to your left or each other player in some way shape or form. If you haven't played monopoly in a while and want a good game to ruin your life long friendships this is the game for you. No cards give you more then +1 Actions so I recommend playing with the Event card "Lost Arts" from Adventures. I also recommend using the Event card "Quest" since no cards in the supply allow you to trash the curses your lovely neighbors will end up giving you.
If you do not own the Promo cards "Envoy" or "Governor", replace "Envoy" with "Advisor" from Guilds and replace "Governor" with "Steward" from Intrigue. The game will play the same if not better.
You can play with Colonies and Platinums if you want, but you'll be lucky to have enough treasure in hand to buy them. Prepare to be frustrated, but in a good way. This is a challenging game in terms of deck building strategy.
If you want the game to move a little quicker give everyone 1-3 "Cellar" from the Base Set instead of the usual starting estates.
The key to winning this game? Strategic use of your Action Token and the "Tribute" card. Just don't stack your opponents' decks with too many curse cards, or you'll only be helping them out each time you play "Tribute" later in the game.
Enjoy. Have fun hating each other.
