Great game. We tried to
Great game. We tried to combine the free-card mechanism from Hinterlands with the variety mechanism from Cornucopia.
This set should be named WTF
This set should be named WTF Tunnels. So fun, great job!
Well, tunnel seems not so
Well, tunnel seems not so powerful here (at least, not better than somthing like warehouse-tunnel). The only viable discarder here is harvest (oracle, Hunting party and Farming village are not very good for this task). I think the best strategy to follow here is Hunting party + Haggler + Scheme. Scheme and Haggler are both absolute beast with HP. Just buy 2-3 Silvers, 1 Haggler, and as many Hunting parties and Schemes as possible.
You realize that oracle,
You realize that oracle, hunting parting and farming village all trigger Tunnel? I got four golds in one turn because of hunting party and farming village.
Yes, I know. So, I tried both
Yes, I know.
So, I tried both strategies on isotropic : seems like we are both right.
The tunnel strategy takes +/- 15 turns to get 4 provinces : but with a little more victory points from tunnels.
The Haggler-Scheme-Hunting party strategy takes +/- 13 turns to get 4 provinces : so it's a little faster but without the VP from tunnel.
I still think my strategy is better though, since you can grap additional duchies easily at the end of the game (because with haggler, you can buy Province, gaining border village then duchy).

Interesting set by the way.
Haggler works really nice
Haggler works really nice with hunting party: it works like a pseudo +buy--when buying provinces, you can be picking up more hunting parties or whatever. Not a whole lot of use for any villages (though farming village does trigger tunnel)-- there just aren't many worthwhile terminals worth playing.
Sorry for the so many
Sorry for the so many multiple posts in a row (accident.)
I wonder if Crossroads is any
I wonder if Crossroads is any help here? My guess is no.
We played this with Platinum
We played this with Platinum and Colonies added. With this many Cantrips, Oracle really bogged the game down. Otherwise a fun but overly long, game.
Seems to be hit or miss. I
Seems to be hit or miss. I played this deck with FV, Tunnel, and HP; bit unlucky in that I never got to discard a tunnel. Meanwhile my opponent is racking up with haggler.
I played this deck yesterday
I played this deck yesterday and you need just one thing to win this game. Simple buy only money and you win anyway... You mus anything change on this.
