Don't forget to Haven. I had
Don't forget to Haven. I had a 5-draw of victory cards, and assumed my turn was for naught. However, after discarding, I noticed I had a Cellar sitting on a Haven that I could have used. I still won with a 6-gold pirate mat and a Duke strategy.
This looks like a fun one --
This looks like a fun one -- love the title.
The Haven was great combined
The Haven was great combined with the Cellar... I could Haven victory cards and nearly always trade 'em in next turn. Still, the Dukes and Duchys ultimately did me in.
Wow. Balanced setup!
Wow. Balanced setup! Multiple paths to victory and interesting choices to be made. Tons of interaction and "he bought this so I bought that to counter."
I have just tested this setup
I have just tested this setup with a pc version of dominion playing against two AI players and I found that it is quite easy to beat them with right combination of playing cellars, villages and pirates in the first half of game and buying duchys and dukes in second half. However, I don't know if this can be equally successful with real opponents.
Really enjoyed this
Really enjoyed this variation! Cash starvation, and the temptation to "go negative" and pursue the Sea Hag defined the two back-to-back rounds we played.
Pirate ship help the o's to
Pirate ship help the o's to trash their coppers. I wouldn't use again.
Yeah haven is very effective
Yeah haven is very effective for giving your freedom in your next hand when you're looking at a not so great hand.
